SewingAgri-Cover, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to a full-time position in our sewing department. Position requires operation of commercial sewing equipment and will require moderate lifting. Summary Assembles parts of various materials such as vinyl, seat belt webbing material, and metal.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works at station as member of assembly, sewing or cutting team. Assemble or cut one or two specific parts and passing unit to another worker. Operates industrial sewing machines, either single needle or double needle. Re-thread the machines when thread or bobbins run out. Operate a miller hot wedge welder to adhere sections of vinyl together to acheive the correct length of tarp. Works at different work stations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor. Keep the work area and building clean and organized. Implements improvements. Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
